So I sit here today in our newly reorganized library classroom and we have already done the following:
(This is also how I hope every day will begin.)
-Prayer and Devotions
-Saint of the Day
-5 minute journal time (today's question: "Write about what you will do today to demonstrate the virtues of St Aidan - joyful kindness in helping others.")
-Familiarizing the boys with their weekly planners. (we are using the Days of Faith Student Planner and Assignment Book from Pflaum Publishing Group.)
-Daily GRAMS Lesson 1-5
-Week 1 Spelling Lesson
-Math drill of some type
-Latin review
-Music practice
Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible. ~St. Francis of Assisi
In a social milieu that encourages the expression of a variety of opinions on every question that arises, it is important to recognize dissent for what it is, and not to mistake it for a mature contribution to a balanced and wide-ranging debate. It is the truth revealed through Scripture and Tradition and articulated by the Church’s Magisterium that sets us free. (Pope Benedict XVI)
